About the collection
Gold Jewelry Over $1,000
Where the gold is
There are hardly any stones in this collection. 14K gold jewelry over $1,000 is priced by metal, and these are the pieces that carry the most of it. The bracelets are the Cuban link, the chunky bold-link rolo, and the Cuban gourmet chain with a name plate. The necklaces are our chains in their fuller forms — figaro, rolo, Singapore, Cuban curb, and the rope chain toward the 4.85mm end of its range. They are unisex by nature, and most are worn alone rather than with a pendant.
Buying a wider chain
Decide width before length. A wide chain worn short sits like a collar; the same chain a few inches longer relaxes and drapes. Men generally settle between 20 and 24 inches, women between 16 and 20. Look at how the links lie: Cuban curb and figaro rest flat against the skin, while rope and rolo are rounder and roll slightly with movement. Heavier gold chains should be stored fastened and laid flat or hung, so the links do not kink. Every piece is stamped 585 or 14K and hand-finished in our own factory in Istanbul.
