Color in a vintage setting
Every colored stone in this collection is a simulated gemstone: a man-made stone that gives the look of the natural one, and is named as such on each page. At its center is a family of vintage-style 14K gold gemstone rings in two cuts — an oval, and a pear-cut flanked by cubic zirconia side stones — each offered in simulated ruby, simulated sapphire, simulated emerald and simulated citrine, or in clear cubic zirconia. Around them sit a simulated turquoise ring with a halo and twisted rope band, a bohemian evil eye ring with a simulated sapphire center, colorful multi-stone bands, and simulated ruby stud earrings with baguette accents.
Choosing a stone color
Many people begin with a birth month: red for July, green for May, blue for September, golden yellow for November. Others simply choose the color they wear most. Deep red and blue stand out strongly against yellow gold, while the warm tone of simulated citrine blends into it for a softer, tonal effect. An oval cut reads classic and lengthens the finger; the pear cut is a little more dressed. As with any stone-set gemstone ring, take it off for heavy work and clean it with mild soap and a soft brush.

Are the gemstones natural?
It depends on the piece. Most of our jewelry is set with cubic zirconia and other simulated stones; we also set natural diamonds and gemstones. Each product page states exactly which stone is used, so please check the description before ordering.
How do I care for colored stones?
Warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush, then rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Keep stones away from perfume and hairspray, and store each piece on its own so harder stones do not scratch softer ones.
Which birthstone is mine?
One stone for each month: garnet for January, amethyst for February, aquamarine for March, diamond for April, emerald for May, pearl or alexandrite for June, ruby for July, peridot for August, sapphire for September, opal or tourmaline for October, topaz or citrine for November, and turquoise, tanzanite or blue zircon for December.
What is your return policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to return or exchange a piece that is unworn, in its original condition and packaging.
