Before you order engraving

Short reads better than long. One to three initials stay crisp on a signet face; a full first name belongs on the name plate, where there is width for it. Enter the text exactly as it should appear, capitals included, and check the spelling of names twice. With engravable gold rings, settle the ring size first: a signet is a wide ring and wears slightly tighter than a thin band, so measure with that in mind.
