Plain, stone-set and sideways
Each 14K gold cross necklace here is small in scale, made to be worn daily rather than displayed. The plainest is the straight-edge cross, a minimal pendant with clean, squared lines. The dainty cross with cubic zirconia is set with stones, and the double-sided cross carries 52 of them, so it shows stones whichever way it turns. A minimal cross with cubic zirconia and heart details is the softest of the group, and there is a double cross necklace for those who like the motif repeated. The side cross necklace sets the cross horizontally, in line with the chain, so it lies along the collarbone.
Length and placement
A hanging cross looks most natural at 16 to 18 inches, where it rests in the hollow of the throat or just below and stays visible at an open collar. A sideways cross necklace is better worn a little shorter, so the cross sits level across the collarbone instead of tipping. For a baptism, first communion or confirmation gift, the plain and lightly stone-set crosses are the traditional choice. All stones are cubic zirconia, and every necklace is stamped 585 or 14K.

How do I choose a pendant necklace length?
16 in sits at the base of the neck, 18 in rests on the collarbone and is the length most people choose, and 20 in falls just below it. If you plan to layer, keep about two inches between pieces.
Can I layer these without tangling?
Yes. Keep around two inches between layers, mix link styles, and fasten each necklace separately. A 16 in plain chain over an 18 in pendant is the classic pair; our layering guide walks through three-piece stacks.
Are the stones real?
It depends on the piece. Most of our jewelry is set with cubic zirconia and other simulated stones; we also set natural diamonds and gemstones. Each product page states exactly which stone is used, so please check the description before ordering.
