14K Gold Figaro Chains

One pattern, two pieces

Figaro is a link pattern with Italian roots: a run of short, rounded links broken by one longer oval, repeated along the chain. The rhythm is what people like about it. It has more going on than a plain curb, yet it still lies flat and looks orderly. This small collection holds our 14K gold figaro chain as a necklace and the gold figaro bracelet that matches it. Both are minimal, unisex pieces, equally at home on a man or a woman, and both come from our own factory in Istanbul, where each one is finished by hand.

Wearing a figaro chain

Because the pattern is detailed, figaro is usually worn alone rather than with a pendant, though a small cross or medal suits it well. As a necklace, 18 inches is the usual women's length and 20 to 22 inches the usual men's. The bracelet should sit with about a finger's width of slack, so the long links can turn and catch the light. Worn together, the two read as a set without looking too matched. Each is stamped 585 or 14K.
